The Local Authority contacted Dura-Sport to discuss refurbishment options for an existing non-turf pitch within one of their public parks.

The existing surface and shock pad tiles were lifted and removed and the aggregate base was completely reconstructed in order to bring the levels of the pitch back up to flush with the existing surrounding ground.

After consultation with the client and in order to meet a tight budget, a 30m long DS shock pad underlay was installed to protect the foundation and the pitch was surfaced using a 30m long DS Grass tufted surface, which was marked out as per rules of the game.
